Burlesque, Bitches!

I've been busy with school *cough, more like procrastination with school....* and my latest undertaking...
BURLESQUE!

This has been an awesome confidence booster and I have been able to meet a lot of awesome
new people.

I fucking love it!

Doctor! Doctor!

GAH.

I don't know if there is an official term for what I am going through, but the symptoms include:

* Not wanting to do school work.
* Lack of Interest in school.
*No motivation to go to class.
*WHY IS IT SO EARLY!? --when it's really noon.
* Not wearing matching clothes.

* Just going full honey badger everyday.

I'm going to guess it's just college laziness?

If you haven't guessed, I have lost my will to give a damn about school.
Or a clean house.
Or laundry.
Or cooking.
Or...anything.

My headaches migraines are getting more frequent and more horrible.
My left foot needs to get chopped off.

But, burlesque is awesome :)

Until later,

Fall Decorating

This is the first time that I have been able to decorate how I want to.  Since I am free from the horrible decorating sense of my mother, who thinks birdhouses are a perfect theme do decorate with, I can do what I want to.

My lovely boyfriend, Matt, has basically given me free range to do whatever I want to do to the house.

I love to craft.  Turning junk into treasures. Making ugly, unwanted things into pretty, useful items make me happy.

I am going to share some of the quick little decorating things I've done.  Also, I am extremely cheap.  I am The Queen of the Dollar Tree.

Soap Dispenser Ghosts

Matt thinks these are absolutely adorable.

I was walking through the aisle of the Dollar Tree and saw these soap dispensers.  At first, I thought I could paint them and turn them into zombies, or pumpkins.  Then, I decided since they are already white that turning them into ghosts would be easiest.

All I had to do was take off the soap dispenser-thingy, paint the face on with a permanent marker, and here we are!

Candy Corn Cones

(Sorry about the movies and routers.)

I found this idea on pinterest from this blog.
Personally, I like a uniformed look.  Instead of randomly wrapping the string, I wrapped it on top of each other without over-lapping. A little elmer's glue and it works fine.

Message On a Bottle

Okay, I found versions of this on pinterest as well.
Most people only spelled out "Thanks," but
I like the fuller version of " Give Thanks."

Right now the mantle looks kinda bare, but I'll
add more things to it later.

I painted the words on the bottles with Nail Polish, which I
have plenty of.

With some dollar tree leaves, pumpkins, and candles, I don't think it looks too bad.

I'll post more crafts later.

Until later,

FREEEEEEDOOOOOOOM!

I'M FREE!
Free from the "Man" the kept putting me down!

So, yeah, I quit my job.
I got to the point that I was getting depressed just thinking about my job.

Now, the hunt begins to find something less depressing.

I'm All Grown Up!

I bought my first set of gaming dice.
This weekend I'll be playing Mage on Saturday
and Pathfinder on Sunday with my
boyfriend and his friends.

I think I'm finally getting a hang of the nerd world.
