This is the first time that I have been able to decorate how I want to.  Since I am free from the horrible decorating sense of my mother, who thinks birdhouses are a perfect theme do decorate with, I can do what I want to.
My lovely boyfriend, Matt, has basically given me free range to do whatever I want to do to the house.
I love to craft.  Turning junk into treasures. Making ugly, unwanted things into pretty, useful items make me happy.
I am going to share some of the quick little decorating things I've done.  Also, I am extremely cheap.  I am The Queen of the Dollar Tree.
Soap Dispenser Ghosts
Matt thinks these are absolutely adorable.
I was walking through the aisle of the Dollar Tree and saw these soap dispensers.  At first, I thought I could paint them and turn them into zombies, or pumpkins.  Then, I decided since they are already white that turning them into ghosts would be easiest.
All I had to do was take off the soap dispenser-thingy, paint the face on with a permanent marker, and here we are!
Candy Corn Cones
(Sorry about the movies and routers.)
Personally, I like a uniformed look.  Instead of randomly wrapping the string, I wrapped it on top of each other without over-lapping. A little elmer's glue and it works fine.
Message On a Bottle
Okay, I found versions of this on pinterest as well.
Most people only spelled out "Thanks," but
I like the fuller version of " Give Thanks."
Right now the mantle looks kinda bare, but I'll
add more things to it later.
I painted the words on the bottles with Nail Polish, which I
have plenty of.
With some dollar tree leaves, pumpkins, and candles, I don't think it looks too bad.
I'll post more crafts later.
Until later,
stay happy  & stay beautiful.
